Dr. King is a licensed psychologist and the CEO of Spectrum Behavioral Care. With decades of clinical and administrative experience—and as the father of an autistic young adult—Dr. King brings a unique blend of professional knowledge and personal understanding to his work.
Throughout his career, Dr. King has been dedicated to improving access to high-quality, compassionate mental health care for autistic individuals and those with other developmental disabilities. He has provided psychotherapy, overseen a residential care program, and as a long-time Regional Center vendor, focused on services that truly meet the needs of neurodivergent adults.
Dr. King earned his doctorate degree from Washington State University and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member and clinical supervisor at Pepperdine University.
At Spectrum Behavioral Care, Dr. King leads with empathy, clinical integrity, and a deep respect for each client’s individuality. His goal is to create a safe, affirming space where autistic adults can build meaningful lives, develop lasting skills, and thrive on their own terms.
