About Us

Our Philosophy

At Spectrum Behavioral Care, we believe every individual deserves the chance to thrive in a supportive, structured environment. We provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers adults with autism, and other developmental disabilities to grow in confidence, independence, and emotional well-being.

Our Story

At Spectrum Behavioral Care, the founders understand the journey of autistic young adults — because we’ve lived it. As mental health professionals and parents, we’ve navigated the system alongside our son, celebrating small victories while facing the pain of watching him struggle with anxiety, isolation, and the desire for independence.

After high school, the structure he relied on disappeared. Like many families, we encountered the “services cliff” — a sudden drop in autism-informed care for adults. Traditional programs are not built for neurodivergent adults, and he was left without the support he needed to thrive.

We knew he wasn’t alone. So we built what was missing.

Spectrum Behavioral Care was created to provide a safe, affirming, and specialized mental health program for autistic young adults and others with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to ensure autistic adults are understood, accepted, and receive behavioral health services that meet their unique needs.

The Spectrum Difference

Care Led by Autism Specialists

Our team brings specialized training, deep experience, and genuine passion for working with autistic individuals. We understand the nuances, needs, and strengths that make each client unique.

Individualized, Affirming Treatment

Every care plan is tailored. We meet clients where they are, honor their goals, and provide support in a positive, neurodiversity-affirming environment.

Emphasis on Family Partnership

We don’t just treat the individual—we work with the entire support system. Family therapy is included in care to improve communication, reduce conflict, and help everyone feel more connected and confident.

Built to Bridge the Services Gap

Most behavioral health programs aren't built for autistic adults. We are here to change that for adults who've aged out of school-based services and are navigating life without the support they deserve.

How we support Our clients

Our programs are grounded in compassion and clinical excellence. Every member of our team is specially trained in autism-informed care and is committed to understanding each client’s needs, goals, and strengths.

We offer personalized, evidence-based treatment that includes:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
  • Family support and involvement

We know that adulthood doesn’t come with a roadmap—especially for those on the autism spectrum. But with the right care, meaningful connections, and consistent support, young adults can build lives filled with purpose, independence, and joy.

At Spectrum Behavioral Care, we’re here to walk that journey with you.
